Mission Statement

By the end of the course, students are expected to -

  1. Have acquired a rich understanding of human being based on respect for life and dignity, and the subjective ability to think and act
  2. Become able to interact with people of every sort of health status, respect the autonomy of the people and simultaneously make holistic, multi-faceted and scientific judgments
  3. Be able to plan, implement and evaluate nursing care which is customized to take into consideration not only the physical, psychological and social aspects but also issues arising from everyday life of the patients
  4. Be aware of the responsibility in providing high-quality nursing practice and of the importance in maintaining critical mind towards nursing
  5. Be aware of their responsibility as a professional nurse, and have acquired the capacity to coordinate and promote teamwork based on the ideology of integrated care
  6. Be able maximize their knowledge and skills as nurses to contribute to global medical and health activities
