Selection Process
General Applicants

Application Criteria

  1. Persons who have completed undergraduate study or are expected to complete by March 2015.
  2. Persons who have been awarded a Bachelor’s degree under the School Education Act (Article 104 (4)) or are expected to be awarded by March 2015.
  3. Persons living overseas who have received 16 years of basic education, or are expected to complete by March 2015.
  4. Persons who have taken distance learning course of another country in Japan for 16 years or more, or are expected to complete by March 2015.
  5. Persons appointed by the Minster of Education (Public Announcement by the Ministry of Education, No.5, 1953).
  6. Persons who have been enrolled at university for three years or longer, or who have completed 15 years of basic education abroad or expected to complete by March 2015, and who have acquired the necessary credits at the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences with excellent performance.
  7. Persons aged 22 and above, and whose academic capacity is equivalent to those who have graduated university as admitted in individual entrance examination.
  8. Persons with academic background in junior college, technical college, vocational college and others, whose academic capacity has been admitted equivalent to those who have graduated university.
Senior Applicants
Those who fulfill the criteria for the general applicants, and with working experience in public or private sectors, medicine, health, welfare or education institution for three years or more in total.

Selection process For both general and senior applicants, selection will be based on the results of an English examination (written), short report and interview.
